ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) — The annual Atlantic City Boat Show makes a triumphant return after taking a year off. Eyewitness News was at the show as organizers moved hundreds of boats into the Atlantic City Convention Center. The show begins Wednesday and runs through Sunday. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) — An old airport in Atlantic City could soon become a major attraction for car lovers. A developer wants to build an almost $3 billion project on the site of the old Bader Field. The land would include a race track for cars along with housing, stores, and other auto-themed attractions. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey has approved its first company to take bets on competitive video games, a fast-growing activity known as esports that is popular with young people around the world, officials said Monday. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement granted approval to Esports Entertainment Group to accept bets on esports games. It will be affiliated with Bally’s Atlantic City’s casino license but will only take bets on esports. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey lawmakers are considering a bill that would redirect some sports betting taxes from a state agency to the city of Atlantic City for property tax relief. The measure, introduced last month by state Sen. Troy Singleton, a southern New Jersey Democrat, would redirect the 1.25% tax on sports betting that currently goes to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. LITTLE EGG HARBOR, N.J. (CBS) — The Coast Guard released a video on how they rescued a group of stranded boaters outside of Atlantic City over the weekend. After their boat became grounded near the entrance of Little Egg Harbor on Sunday, the Coast Guard used a helicopter to rescue them.  The Coast Guard needed to use a helicopter for the rescue due to low tide.
