Severe thunderstorms are likely across all of Arkansas on Sunday. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a level 1 and 2 risk for Sunday. This is a low risk, but any risk for severe weather needs to be taken seriously. Plus, I think it's likely they upgrade parts of Arkansas to a level 3 risk. All modes of severe weather will be possible. Damaging wind gusts, tornadoes, and large hail could be produced by the strongest thunderstorms on Sunday. VILONIA, Ark. – Saturday marks 10 years since an EF-4 tornado devastated multiple cities in the Natural State. Mayflower and Vilonia took some of the hardest blows. VILONIA, Ark. – Cameron smith was 9 years old and Tyler smith was 7 years old when the 2014 Vilonia tornado took their life. Their family and friends every year since have honored one Vilonia student with a scholarship in their honor. Rachel Brewer, an Arkansas mother, is relieved that her daughter was able to still be alive after her overdose.
