SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill announced Friday that no charges will be filed against Alexander Wardell whose girlfriend, Morgan Kay Harris, died in a storage unit fire in Murray a year ago. Wardell was arrested following the Feb. 18, 2023 incident for negligent homicide and kidnapping, but never charged in Harris' death. SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- The bodies of two skiers killed in an avalanche in the Wasatch backcountry were recovered Friday morning as improved weather conditions allowed crews to access the difficult terrain.
