EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Hundreds of unique plants were for sale at Mesker Park Zoo in Evansville over the weekend. The Bloomin' Zoo Plant Sale and Arts Festival also featured more than 30 local art vendors. "We offer a variety of unique things that you don't always find at the local nurseries," said Botanical Curator Misty Minar. Volunteers needed to help sort eclipse glasses to send to other countries

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Evansville African American Museum collected thousands of eclipse glasses after last month's total solar eclipse over the Tri-State. Now volunteers are needed to help sort through them. Astronomers Without Borders will give out the glasses to reuse around the world during future eclipses. Parents give update on one-year-old that fell into swimming pool

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - The parents of the one-year-old that fell into a backyard swimming pool on Evansville's west side has an update regarding the status of their child. Parents China and Alex shared the update of their baby Ayko with Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson. They said Ayko is making positive progress and won't stop fighting until he is back home. EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Special Olympics athletes went for gold at Evansville North High School. About 200 athletes across five counties competed in the Area 10 games on Saturday. Competitions included track, javelin throw, shot put and long jump. These events are qualifiers for the summer games in Terre Haute next month.
