The City of Providence will be repairing road covers critical for the operation of the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier vehicle gates. These covers house brace footings located in concrete chambers beneath the street. During a storm event, the brace footings hold the gates in a closed position. The project will address road covers on Allens Avenue, Bridge Street, and South Main Street.
