The Legends in Concert Theater announced it is hosting a one night special event for all Swifties in the area. The ‘Tribute to Taylor (Legends Version)’ will be held with the talents of tribute artist Elizabeth Scarborough. The theater said this is a legendary celebration of the music and magic of the global superstar. The first round of players for the Myrtle Beach Classic have been announced. To kick off the city’s first ever PGA event, Cameron Champ, Daniel Berger and Charley Hoffman will play. Berger and Hoffman are four-time PGA tour winners and Champ is a three-time winner. Matt Atkins, a USC Aiken alumni, also earned a spot after winning a qualifier event. A New York man is facing charges after an apparent road rage shooting in Horry County. Shortly before 8pm Tuesday, police responded to the area of Highway 501 and Cox Ferry Road on reports of shots fired. A victim informed officers that she was driving in heavy traffic and noticed a vehicle tailgating her. The woman flipped off the driver which prompted Anthony Simmons Jr. to draw a pistol and fire shots at her. Carolina Forest High School Receives Three Bomb Threats In Two Days

Carolina Forest High School received three bomb threats in back-to-back days. On Wednesday the first threat came through a phone call to the front office. The school was evacuated and returned to normal operations after police confirmed it was safe. Two more bomb threats were made to the school Thursday. It has been determined that the calls were a hoax and were traced to an internet server in India. The same server was linked to other recent school threats across the country. One man was arrested after he allegedly stole a car and threatened people with a firearm. Marlboro County police were dispatched around 8:30pm Thursday night for a stolen vehicle call when they received another call for service at a Dollar General in Wallace. When officers arrived at the store they were informed that a man entered and began pointing a gun and threatening to kill a customer before he fled. The 3M Peltor X4 Series Earmuffs are being recalled due to the potential of the product cracking, leading to potential overexposure to loud sounds. New York’s highest court threw out Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction Thursday. The court found the trial judge unfairly allowed testimony against Weinstein based on allegations that were not part of the case. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said it intends to retry Weinstein, and at least one of his accusers said through her lawyer that she would testify again. TikTok’s Chinese parent company, ByteDance has publicly commented on the new threat to ban the app in the U.S.. A new bill was signed into law this week that would require ByteDance either to sell the social media network or face a nationwide ban.
