One person died Saturday in a heads-on collision in Santa Ana, police said. Santa Ana Police received reports of a crash between a Chevrolet Tahoe and a Nissan Versa around 9:53 p.m. A preliminary investigation found that the Nissan was traveling westbound on 5th Street over the riverbed when it drifted into the opposite lane of traffic. Leads for the two victims’ cases have gone cold and officials are hoping someone will have further information on their cases. Police are searching for a male suspect who stole a large amount of merchandise from a Macy's store in Orange County. The theft happened at a Macy’s department store at the Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana on Dec. 15, 2023, according to the Santa Ana Police Department. Two Los Angeles County men are facing federal charges after authorities say they robbed more than a dozen massage parlors in Los Angeles and Orange counties. According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 28-year-old Andy Cuellar of Hawthorne and 27-year-old Arturo Morales of Downey were arrested on Friday after an armed robbery that day. Surveillance video captured two suspects ransacking a Santa Ana home and escaping with around $130,000 in cash and jewelry. The burglary happened on Dec. 22 at a home on the 4000 block of W.
