BOSTON (AP) — An American Airlines flight attendant was indicted Thursday after authorities said he tried to secretly record video of a 14-year-old girl using an airplane bathroom last September. Police have also alleged that Estes Carter Thompson III, 36, of Charlotte, North Carolina, had recordings of four other girls using lavatories on an aircraft where he worked. Thompson was indicted on one count of attempted sexual exploitation of children and one count of possession of images of child sexual abuse depicting a prepubescent minor. MINT HILL, N.C. – A Charlotte-Mecklenburg School bus was involved in a vehicle crash on Friday afternoon. It happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Blair Road and Albemarle Road in Mint Hill. This is near Rocky River High School, but officials have not confirmed what school the bus was servicing or if any students were on-board. The bus and vehicle in the accident sustained heavy front-end damage. Major traffic delays are expected in the area. Drivers should avoid the area at this time. Rabies Cases Being Investigated In Multiple Counties

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A warning has been issued as officials investigate multiple rabies cases in our area. In Gaston County, officials there are looking into a second case after being called to a home on Carolyn Circle in Gastonia earlier this week. Investigators say a family dog attacked a raccoon that tested positive for rabies. That is the second confirmed case in the county this year. In Rowan County, the Animal Shelter says a cat there tested positive for rabies. The cat was found in Mount Ulla near Highway 801.
