Fairlawn’s police chief has died.Donald Duman, who became chief in 2017, died Sept. 6."He was very compassionate about his job and obviously the city and the people that worked for him," said Fairlawn Mayor Bill Roth. A 79-year-old man was robbed at knife point Friday night.Akron police responded to the 20 block of Broad Street at about 8:30 p.m. Friday for a robbery.A witness told officers that he saw a suspect approach the 79-year-old man and demand money.
