BARBERTON: Police were called to a Fifth Street Southeast home April 23 for a report of an argument. A woman at first told police that no one else was home and there was no argument. Officers found a man in the shower who is trespassed from the property. The man was found with a glass meth pipe and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing. BARBERTON — In the wake of numerous concerns from residents posted on social media about the plans for a local refugee relocation organization to place families in Barberton, representatives from the International Welcome Center (IWC) were invited to speak at the April 29 Barberton City Council meeting. GREEN — During the regular meeting April 29, the Green Local Schools Board of Education approved construction documents for the new elementary and middle schools.
