BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) —  A bill to draw a new Louisiana Supreme Court map is on its way to Gov. Jeff Landry. The Legislature passed it in the 2024 Special Legislative Session. The bill creates a second majority-Black district out of seven districts. SB255 passed with a vote of 85-9 out of the house on Wednesday, April 24.
