NEWPORT, Vt. (WCAX) - More than 8,000 pounds of a Vermont-made frozen pizza has been recalled because of an undeclared allergen. The USDA says 802 VT Frozen is recalling MEAT!!! CRISPY WOOD-FIRED CRUST HAND MADE PIZZA with best if used by dates of April 25, 2024 to April 25, 2025. The pizzas contain soy, a known allergen, which is not listed on the label. BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Some college students in Vermont are joining their peers across the country in protest. Students at the University of Vermont and Middlebury College have set up encampments to protest the schools’ ties to Israel. And they have a list of demands for administrators. Police searching for missing Vermont man

HUNTINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police are searching for a missing man from Huntington. Vermont State Police say they were notified Monday morning that Raymond Phelps, 49, left his home for an unknown destination. The car he was driving was later found in South Burlington. Investigators say there are concerns for Phelps’ welfare, and they don’t know where he may have gone. BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont State Police are investigating a car crash that resulted in three deaths. On Saturday, Berlin Officers responded to the area of Route 62 and Airport Road for a report of a two-car accident. Upon their arrival at the scene, officers found both drivers dead, and the only passenger of one of the vehicles to be deceased as well. Morrisville apartment set ablaze after lightning strike

MORRISVILLE, Vt. (WCAX) - A large structure fire in Morrisville had crews busy early Sunday morning. Residents inside an apartment building on Sterling Valley Rd. say they heard a lightning strike hit the roof. The fire sparked quickly and everyone evacuated. The Community Center in Jericho hosted their third spring clothing swap.
