Franklin County Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd, whose order blocked Kentucky’s lethal injections in 2010, wrote in a ruling Wednesday he would hold off on deciding on the ban, saying there have been changes to lethal injection regulations since then. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) -Lexington firefighter Nathan Bardeen was arrested on April 30th in Fayette County on charges of menacing and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, according to the Lexington Fire Department. Bardeen, who has been employed by the Lexington Fire Department since 2018, was placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
