ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are looking for two cars involved in a hit-and-run crash on Dewey Avenue after midnight on Monday. According to investigators, one vehicle was heading northbound on Dewey Avenue when it was hit by one of two cars, sending it off the road and into a tree. That vehicle was driven by a 50-year-old woman. The passenger, a 37-year-old woman, was treated at the scene for upper body pain. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester Police are investigating the report of shots fired into a house on Fourth Street Sunday night. According to RPD, just after 8 p.m., officers assigned responded to the 300 block of Fourth Street for the report of a building struck by gunfire and quickly noted the residence had been hit at least one time by gunfire.  Officers said at the time of the incident, the home was occupied by three children who were not injured.
