OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A tornado plowed through suburban Omaha, Nebraska, on Friday afternoon, destroying homes and other structures as the twister tore for miles along farmland and into subdivisions. Injuries were reported but it wasn’t yet clear if anyone was killed in the storm. SIMSBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A domestic altercation in Simsbury turned fatal as authorities responded to a distressing 911 call on Wildwood Road around 11:24 a.m. The call, made by a resident of a single-family home, reported a physical altercation between two relatives. Officers discovered 49-year-old Qiu Rongfang with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts to rush her to the hospital, she was pronounced dead. NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- On March 1, police received a 911 call from a victim who was carjacked at gunpoint. The victim, an Uber driver, had picked up a 17-year-old juvenile and 20-year-old Jehki Stewart of Hartford from an address in Hamden and drove them to their destination on North Frontage Road.
