A gorgeous start to the week with warm air over New England. With clouds clearing by late Monday morning, it will be very warm with temperatures in the 70s inland.
A sea breeze will keep temperatures more moderate along the coast, so Boston will make it to the mid-60s. Monday night will be seasonable with temperatures in the 40s with patchy fog possible.
Looking ahead, expect cooler days on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures in the 50s along the coast and 60s inland due to an onshore wind.

A 16-year-old girl who may have used a rideshare vehicle is missing from Pembroke, Massachusetts, and police say they are concerned for her well-being.
Jaylanna Curtin-Green was last seen walking on Country Club Circle around 4 p.m. Saturday, wearing a fluorescent orange top with a black shirt and black pants, police say. A black Honda CRV was seen parked in the area of her residence shortly after then, and police believe this car may have been obtained through a ride-sharing app, secured through a third party.

Members of the Jewish community held a rally Sunday in Boston to call attention to what they describe as growing antisemitism on college campuses as the war in Gaza continues.
The rally, attended by hundreds, was held at Temple Israel of Boston in support of Jewish students across the country.
As the Jewish community celebrates Passover, calls for combatting anti-Semitism on college campuses is at an all-time high.

Firefighters have responded to a large blaze at a multi-family residence in Randolph, Massachusetts.
Information is extremely limited at this time but the Randolph Fire Department confirmed they are on scene at the blaze on Bridle Path Circle.
Video taken from nearby the fire shows bright orange and yellow flames shooting into the sky, with dark smoke billowing above.
There was no immediate word on any injuries.

Four people were rescued when a boat capsized off the coast of Cape Cod on Saturday.
The Hyannis Fire Department said they responded to a call for a boat taking on water near Point Gammon around 10:30 p.m. The Sea Tow service had already responded and was trying to bring it in when the boat capsized, sending four people into the water.
Sea Tow rescued all four people and met with fire officials on the way to Hyannis Harbor. All four people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital – one in critical condition, and the rest in serious condition.

On Monday, the murder trial over the death of Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe in Canton, Massachusetts, opens.

The Billerica community will gather at a vigil Sunday night to remember a longtime veteran of the Billerica Police Department who was killed in a crash while working a construction detail on Friday.
Sgt. Ian Taylor, 49, was working a detail at the intersection of Boston Road at Pollard Street when he was struck by an excavator at the site. He was rushed to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, but he did not survive.
Taylor was a veteran police officer and longtime member of the Billerica Police Department.

A Boston man is being charged with sex-related charges after being charged with sex trafficking last month.
38-year-old John Jamar Cokley, from Boston, was arraigned on charges of sex trafficking of a person under 18, rape of a child by force, three counts of aggravated statutory rape, posing a child in a state of sexual conduct, two counts of causing a minor to distribute a drug, and possession of child pornography on Thursday.
Assistant DA Ashley Polin says Cokley sexually exploited three teens through Instagram.

The president of MIT says the encampment on campus needs to be shut down here after hundreds of students at Northeastern and Emerson were arrested for similar demonstrations.
102 people were arrested on Saturday morning at Northeastern, with police breaking up pro-Palestinian encampments there. The University in their decision citing antisemitic chants to quote “kill the Jews,” something students and faculty deny. Video shows those chants came from counter-protesters holding Israeli flags.

Authorities say a murder-suicide took place inside an apartment in Lowell, Massachusetts on Saturday.
A man called 911 and told dispatchers he shot his wife and child shortly after 6:30 yesterday morning, according to the Middlesex District attorney’s office and Lowell Police.
It happened inside an apartment building on Warren Street. When police got there, they found the man dead inside with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, along with the bodies of a woman and a young girl.
Officials are not releasing their identities.
