Hopefully you were able to get outside and enjoy the comfortable weather on Saturday. Despite a few downpours in the afternoon, both Muncie and Shelbyville surpassed the 80° mark yesterday. Most areas had highs in the upper 70s, meaning temperatures were running more than 10° above average for late April! Pedestrian in serious condition after crash on west side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash on the west side of Indianapolis Saturday night. Wayne Township Fire Department officials who responded to the scene indicated an adult female was struck by a vehicle. The crash also resulted in a second vehicle ending up inside a nearby building. WTFD indicated the car that ended up hitting the building is not currently believed to be the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a death at a gas station on the northwest side of the Circle City. According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department media notification, officers were called to the intersection of North High School Road and West 38th Street on a report of a person down. Temperatures felt more early June like across Central Indiana on Saturday! Indianapolis didn't quite make it to 80°. But its observed high temperature of 79° was the 18th occurrence since January 1st. This is the highest number of days at/above 70° to date in seven years!
