Georgia’s confirmed case count for COVID-19 rose by 4,094 since Tuesday to reach 428,980 on Wednesday. The statewide death toll rose by 35 to reach 8,830, according to figures posted just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday by the Georgia Department of Public Health.Cases have been trending upward in Georgia and across the country in recent weeks.
