What the hell was this book? I bloody hell love it and I was literally sobbing at the end. So, romance is one genre that I love the most and books like this are the main reason for that. This is so far one of the most realistic romance books I have read! We follow the story of Laurie and Jack. Laurie doesn’t believe in love at first sight until she sees this handsome but normal-looking man through a bus window and had immediately fallen for him! She is now desperate to find this mystery man and is searching for him everywhere and one day after almost a year, her best friend introduces her to ..read more

Processed with VSCO with c3 preset After /5 After We Collided /5 The entire series is a fan-fiction so I have rated the series keeping that in mind. I LOVED the whole series and I know that there are people out there saying that this book is not worth it and showcases a toxic relationship, but for me, this was a perfect series and keeping in mind that it was written on Wattpad, I am ready to ignore some flaws and lack of literary devices used throughout the book. The whole series focuses on Tessa and Hardin. Tessa is the honest, sincere and innocent girl and Hardin being the bad boy. The who ..read more

“Memories are a lot tougher than you might think. Just like the hearts that hold them.” The Memory Police was a dystopian, hypnotic and haunting book for me. The story revolves around an Island, it’s dominated by ‘the memory police’ who make things disappear and those things might be words, animals, flowers, books, etc. And The Memory Police not only forbid the holding of items but they want the memory of those items to be destroyed permanently. Creepy! Right?  We follow a young aspiring novelist. Her mother was taken away by the memory police and now she has only two friends, one her pu ..read more

This was my first Elif Shafak’s book and to be honest, I loved this book and I’ll certainly read more of her books in the future.  The writing style and the way she narrated this whole story is just awesome and I connected with the story.  We follow the story of a prostitute named Tequila Leila who is now dead but her brain keeps on working for the next 10 minutes and 38 seconds. She recalls memories of her life, from her birth to a young child, to an adult, to her final breath.  “Many of which long forgotten. Many of which best forgotten.” The whole story is gripping and revol ..read more

The main story focuses on Tessa and Hardin. The story starts with Tessa. Tessa is a normal girl who has a perfectly normal life and it’s her first day at WCU and like any other normal person, she is shifting to her dorm and her roommate Steph has this crazy tattooed and pierced boy in their room that Tessa’s mother hated from the first moment BUT Tessa, on the other hand, ended up falling in love with this bad boy, aka Hardin Scott.  A lot of you guys have asked whether I would recommend it to you or not, it depends on this basic thing that this was a fan-fiction written on Wattpad and t ..read more
