This year has been a big year for me when it comes to education on all of the madness and ingredients that are thrown into beauty products. From hair to face to the body, we LOVE to throw products at every body part in hopes of getting closer to the best version of our self. Forgive me if you already know this, or high-five me if you already knew this, but the list of questionable ingredients in beauty products is very high and the possible side effects are very scary. Here are some things to watch out for, and a little why: Parabens: These culprits have been around since the 1920’s and are es ..read more

GOOD MOLECULES REVIEW

To give you some background about my skin care regimen, I have pretty much been using the same thing on my face for 10 years now. I never really questioned what I have been using and honestly it made my skin a little irritated and dry but it got the job done and kept me for the most part acne free. Recently, the brand that made those products discontinued my 10-year secret, I have been able to get by stock piling any remaining products I could find online and on discount stores but all good things come to an end. And that end was May, aka when every last reserve of Clean n Clear expired. Right ..read more

Fashionable Face Masks

it is crazy to think that our new normal requires wearing Face Masks. I find the thought and look of it kind of scary, but I have managed to wrap my brain around it and become a little bit more OK with the idea about it by matching it to my outfits and thinking of this as dressing like a badass. Starting today in San Diego, California it is mandatory to wear a Face Mask when in public, not just when inside a grocery or business. I am designing new face mask gaiters every day and putting them up on my Etsy Store. If you have any ideas on designs please feel free to send me a message or comment ..read more

Talk about a life changer. At the beginning of March I had so many plans for the following months and so many exciting brand collaborations I was going to tackle. To name a few, I had two vacations planned, one with friends and another with family along with a handful of businesses trips and amazing experiences in my city. Needless to say, what seemed to be one of the fastest growth years of my life, slowly changed to feel more like a stay-at-home summer vacation. You know the ones we had when we were very young and were at the mercy of our parents to take us to do something fun. Yes, that is ..read more

Mexico City: WHERE CULTURE MEETS THE CITY LIFE.

Mexico City is one of those places you either really want to go to or you are really petrified of, last year when we got a whirl at Netflix’s new show about it, it suddenly shifted drastically towards it being a glamorous place everyone wanted to go to (at least with my friend circles). The more I researched the city, the more I realized that all of the iconic places that illustrate Mexican culture where all 30 miles away from Mexico City, so I did what I know how to do best, I bought some tickets, found a nice hotel and found myself on a flight to the city. The days, hours, minutes and second ..read more

How to snow, when your so San Diego
CityFashionBlog

Growing up in Sunny soCal, we don’t get many obvious chances to go to the snow – we live our day to day switching between high 60s and low 70s. Little do many know that you can literally be in the snow in less than an hour depending on what part of San Diego you live in. I grew up thinking that you had to go to Big Bear during the winter time to live out your white Christmas dreams, not knowing that the minute we get a little bit of rain, mixed with some mid to low 60s in the coast, we probably have some snow waiting for us in East County. Yes, east county – like a little past your usual casin ..read more
