At 7:30 am I got an early wake up mom call from my two year old daughter. We been getting an early start all week with our new morning routine & early bedtime. The transition hasn’t been easy. Mama is exhausted. But for some reason her waking me this morning, I felt a sense of gratefulness that I get to wake up to my daughter. There are so many of us that don’t get that chance or would do anything for that Mama moment. We washed faces, brushed teeth and ate oatmeal together. She loves oatmeal. Yes, my Christmas tree is still up! Who going to judge me boo, LOL Normally I take my Christmas tree and Holiday decor down on New Year’s Day. This year I planned to take things down a little later because we were having family over after New Year’s. My tree was AMAZING compared to previous years. Aside from family coming over I was plagued with the Flu entering 2020. We had to cancel our family gathering. I was so UPSET. We don’t see family as often as I would like. Unfortunately, the Christmas tree and all its excitement are coming down tomorrow, January 11, 2020. For the first ..read more

I’m feeling 90% better. I hope you are well and starting the year in good health. For me, I brought in 2020 home with my family watching the ball drop. Shortly after I got a strain of the flu. Happy New Year to me right! As a Mom I tried to quarantine myself from my two year old as much as possible. I was somewhat successful. The first week of 2020 I know I shed a few tears and felt less than a Mom. Mom Guilt set in because I was too weak to handle mom duties. Like bath time, learning time, play time and hug time with my sweet girl. I did my best to keep my distance from my daughter ..read more

Your girl decided to wear a red lip to kick off her Birthday weekend. We recently discovered we have numerous local wineries in the area. Who knew! I haven’t been to a wine tasting since joining the mom tribe. I was pretty stoked for this outing to say the least! When you are a mom you get excited about the little things, like visiting a winery. It’s November! This year is flying by. I love this month for so many reasons. For starters, it’s my birth month. Scorpio season! It’s time to celebrate and thank God for blessing me with this life. I was born on 11/11 and can’t tell you how many times I see it. It’s almost on a daily, seriously. If you don’t know about the manifestation of 1111, Google it and leave thoughts in the comments below. Secondly, the temperature drops significantly outside, at least in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area it does. That means time to turn on the heat at home. Who doesn’t love a warm and cozy house ..read more

Although it has been a little over two years since my daughter was born. I feel compelled to share our birth story since she was conceived in October 2016.  October is a special month to me because getting pregnant wasn’t easy.  It really was god’s will. We picked up some seafood.  Cra ..read more
