Self care doesn’t have to be a splurge. Although there’s plenty of room for that. The best kind of self-care is part of a routine or intertwined into your day that makes your day or week a little easier. It also doesn’t have to take up a lot of your time. When the triplets were newborns, I remember feeling like the whole idea of self-care practice was being shoved down my throat like some consumer-ized product. It seemed as if the self-care everyone was pushing cost a lot of time and money. Society’s idea of self care felt more like pressure to do more. Another box to check off on my overwhel ..read more

If you know me, you know I love a schedule for the kids. But I wasn’t always that way. I wish that triplet mom me could go back and tell singleton mom me what a difference it would make, but that’s neither here no there at this point. Sticking with a schedule continues to be one of the biggest tips I give new moms of multiples. Looking back, it’s what stands out the most as far as advice went while I was pregnant with the trio. It’s never too late to begin a daily toddler routine, but I must say that preparing for schedules from the beginning has made a world of a difference in our life! Rout ..read more

Eggless Pumpkin Bread that I Know You’ll Love!

Hey Y’all! ‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin. I don’t bake a whole lot, mainly because baking without eggs is a challenge, but it’s totally worth it for this yummy pumpkin bread. Side note… why do we call it pumpkin bread when it tastes more like cake? Why eggless?? P2 (the middle triplet) is allergic to them. The poor kids don’t get a whole lot of baked treats because of it, but I’m trying to find more options. Most kids grow out of egg allergies by around year two, but for some of us it sticks around for a few more years. We’re just working around it at the time and will re-test a coupl ..read more

Those little apps house all the people and all the things I need to stay in the know with. Ugh. The struggle. You feel me? If you still have Netflix at this point, The Social Dilemma may be the most important thing you can watch today. It interviews tons of tech exp ..read more

This ingredient checks all the boxes – extremely safe for use in makeup, naturally sourced, non-toxic. But is it ethical? There’s a lot of talk about human trafficking lately, and for good reason. We’re starting to learn that it presents itself in so many ways that we haven’t thought about before. So we just have to continue learning. Trafficking includes forced labor and child labor which means that so many of our material possessions come at the cost of someone else’s life. Buckle up, because this is something almost all of us use. I didn’t even know what Mica was a few weeks ago. It’s been ..read more
