At the end of every month, I plan to post my Dividend Income Report! This is where I review my portfolio of dividend growth stocks and ETFs to track my progress and note any changes that have been made to ensure I am moving forward toward my goal of liquid FI. I’ll be measuring the results of each dividend stock purchase, dividend increase, and reinvested dividends to calculate the effect each has had on my portfolio and track my passive income. Creating Passive Income Most of the stocks I own are dividend growers, so I expect my dividends to grow over time increasing my passive income bit by ..read more

Now onto the fun stuff! At the beginning of the year, I set some lofty goals for myself, knowing they would be difficult to achieve, but not unreacha ..read more

The New Year is upon us and filled with so much promise. With visions of health, happiness, and love for all of those we surround ourselves with. The promise of living your best life on whatever terms you choose. A clean slate. I began this blog at the very end of last year. I find it incredibly inspiring and motivating. Even more so than I could have ever imagined. Seeing the goals I set at the beginning of the year up on the screen and actually sitting down to write a review on my progress is like “therapy” for lack of a better word. Before joining the blogging community I could only read ..read more

“Self Care is a crucial part of our well being within the framework of a meaningful life. We all have a limited amount of physical and mental energy. The better you can manage your emotional climate the more energy you’ll have throughout the day. The good news is that you can consciously choose where and how to allocate your energy.” We all have that one friend or family member who is always asking if you know anyone who needs….or wants…? For instance, a cleaning person. And for that one moment we think to ourselves, “I wish!”, “I would love to have someone come in and clean my ho ..read more

I’m sure you have all heard of Passive Income. For those who have not it’s a form of regular income that you don’t have to work for. Instead of you working for your money, your money is working for you. Money that you earn that requires little to no effort. The IRS states passive income can come from two sources: rental property or a business/partnerships in which one does not actively participate, such as being paid book royalties or stock dividends. There are numerous types of passive income. Many in the FI community choose dividend investing. Others may choose funds and/or ETF’s. And still ..read more
