~ Hello Friends & Folk ~ ...and a very happy SPRING to us all... a bit windy, due to March being, well...march-y and all. but the sun is bright, the skies are blue and I'm a happy little farmwitch! Peter has been working in the gardens...turning soil and planting seeds. so far we have put in potatoes, both red & white... garlic, kale & strawberries. our little orchard is blooming, the peach & plum trees have flowers ~ and the apple trees have tiny leaves...it will be a wonderful harvest this year! my very favorite daffodil {actually a narcissus} is this 'Poet's Narcissus ..read more

           Howdy folks! I've just listed a new punch needle pattern in my Etsy shop {see my Etsy pocket shop, above}    I love how this finished! prim, folky, wonky...whatever! 3 little carrots, nestled in a sweet blue bowl ~ I used 3 ply Valdani cotton floss, and my medium tip SMARTPUNCH needle to work this quick project.   ~ Good Morning Friends & Folk ~ ...and a very happy tuesday to us all. we are supposed to reach temps in the 70's today,  and that is fine... except that it will bring more of the 'ladybugs' out of the woods & woodwork which makes it hard to stitch anywhere, inside or outside as they have a penchant of landing on my head, in my teacup or on my stitching. {these are not true lady bugs...they are actually Multicolored Asian Lady Beetles and are considered destructive, invasive pests.} anyhoo.....
