I've seen and / or heard: Barn Swallows Purple Martins Orange-crowned Warblers Hutton's Vireos And this guy: A White-crowned Sparrow. Last year I had a group of seven birds. Continuing with my Frame a Rabbit theme, several years ago I took in Ewe & Eye & Friend's "Brown Bunny" to be finished.  We decided on a very plain brown frame wit a bit of a metallic finish.  As the sampler is a bit busy, I thought a simple frame would be best. I think it sets off the piece nicely...and so does the brown bunny. Migration is marvelous! Seeing my first male Purple Finches. And hearing them too. They are singing up a storm. Design -Briar Rabbit Designer - La-D-Da Fabric - 35 count R & R 18th Century Rook Fibers - Needlepoint Silks Started - 28 July 2009 Completed - 5 August 2009 I am very pleased with the finished product. I used 35 count 18th Century Rook linen and the Needlepoint Silks as charted. It is a lovely little sampler and fits perfectly as part of my "Rabbit Summer of 2009".
