Moong dal halwa is an Indian dessert cooked using yellow split dal or pulses. It is cooked especially in winters and served warm.
Ingredients needed:
Moong dal – 1 cup or 200 gm
Ghee – 1 cup
Water – 1 and 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Saffron – 4-5 strands
Green cardamom or elachi powder- 1/2 tsp

oats- 2 cups (200 gm)
Coconut sugar or powdered sugar- 2 tbsp
Coconut oil(melted)- 2 tbsp
Ripe bananas(mashed)- 2
Desiccated coconut- 1 to 2 tbsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Choco-chips- 1/2 cup(50gm)
Servings- 13 -14 cookies
How to make:
Preheat the oven to 170 c .
Take a mixing bowl and mash the bananas using a fork. Transfer all the ingredients except the choco-chips to the mixing bowl. Mix everything using a spatula.
