It’s the purest unintentional form of selfishness, blinded by a deep concern for the collateral damage around you if you admit your thoughts, your feelings of inadequacy and despair. It’s a burden you don’t want your loved ones to carry, because you intimately understand the torment it causes. You don’t have the capacity in those dark moments to consider the -after. The part where your absence is the exact distributor of collateral damage, affecting many lives for a lifetime, while excusing yours for eternity ..read more

Today… an interview I did for a podcast went live. I don’t think my heart has left my stomach since. It is hard to share our testimony or past truths of things we’ve experienced sometimes and this was no different. Neil was given the floor to ask whatever he wanted and I ensured that I ..read more

Do you ever struggle with wanting to be real and wanting to be healed? Sometimes I do. Even though I realize the two go hand in hand. I used to shy away at times with being raw and revealing a tattered version of myself because in those moments of transparency and vulnerability – I show ..read more

As I was in the shower that thought came flooding back with this download. Holy Spirit showed me that in that gap was Jesus literally holding us, healing us, and making us whole again because what God removes he replaces and he can’t do that until we are whole. We are our own worst enemy occasionally working against God by doing his work for him ..read more

Sitting on the shoreline I could see Jesus writing in the sand and showing how the water washes the lines away as a representation of sin when we bring it to his feet. He shows me an unpolished cup with his fingerprints all over it and how one would think it needs polished, but really its proof of his craftsmanship. He explains that often times we apply something topical before we polish - instead of cleansing anyway so what truly is the point? Why not leave the fingerprints? The scars? The imperfections? and trust him to work on those with us. Not to mention that is where our testimonies lay ..read more

Be still and know that He is God. I love that God is a God of repeating, he does this in his word, through confirming thoughts through us and in the ways he requests our obedience when we’re resisting. There’s been a stirring in my heart about two phrases I’ve heard and how they play ..read more

Life was good but it got better

I love how God speaks to my heart in the moments of surrendering during worship. God laid these words on my heart today, “Life was good, but it got better.” This past week I’ve been questioning how we share the importance of Jesus with people whose lives are good. It is easy to share Jesus ..read more
