The LGLC has just protected 10 acres of land in Bolton’s Indian Brook subwatershed, including three acres of wetlands and about700 feet of Saddlebrook stream corridor.

The LGLC Board of Directors elected four new members and thanked four for their years of service.
Bolton Landing, NY – The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) is pleased to announce that Paul Bell has been elected President of the LGLC Board of Directors. Mr. Bell is taking over the position from past President Jeff Brozyna, who reached his term limit on the Board.

Bolton Landing, NY – Registration is open for the Lake George Land Conservancy’s (LGLC) 7th annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake, taking place Saturday, September 30, 2023. The race is a 4.5-mile trail run at Amy’s Park in Bolton, NY. Registration is available online at https://lglc.org/amys-race.
Amy’s Park offers challenging and rugged terrain amidst ponds, marshes, and forests. A virtual option is also available, so athletes can run the race at Amy’s Park or from wherever they choose on September 30th, as long as it’s 4.5 miles.

Bolton Landing, NY – The Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) hosted more than 200 guests for its 24th annual Land and Water Conservation Celebration on Friday, July 28th. In total, the event raised over $260,000 to directly support some of the LGLC’s most pressing and urgent projects including the Wiawaka Uplands Conservation Project.

Bolton Landing, NY – More than 100 people gathered for the Lake George Land Conservancy’s (LGLC) 10th annual President’s Reception, held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center. The evening included the presentation of the 2023 Henry M. Rowan Conservation Award to the Beaty Family, and Apperson Society medals to David Legg, Daniel and Dianne Ryterband, and the Margaret A. Darrin Charitable Trust.
