It’s been an exciting season so far, and this will be third week of my Pick ‘Em column. I’ve been off the writing for a bit due to some technical difficulties but I’m picking it back up this week. Last predictions I made were for week 6, kinda skipped the last two weeks and I’ve updated how my week 6 went. Week 6 Results Again, I’m tracking all my picks for the year in this google spreadsheet. My first week using the spread to pick my games didn’t go very well. Green Bay won a close one against the Lions that week. I think the Lions outplayed the Packers for most of that game but th ..read more

Who is the best team in the NFL? *Patriots 49ers Saints Packers Name Vote Halfway through the season so far, and the great teams are starting to separate from the pack. Saints look great, Patriots and Niners are still dominating, Aaron Rodgers looks like his old self, and the Dolphins and Bengals haven’t won a game yet. Patriots vs. Browns This is one of the games I was watching on Sunday. A lot of hype surrounding the game with the Browns and all the talking and not football playing that they do. As I was watching the Patriots defense, I realized Bill Belichick reminds me of wh ..read more

Gardner Minshew showing up to the Alamo BowlIts Football Sunday!!! I hope you guys are excited as I am, especially with the London game at 09:30 AM that means there is football literally all day. But, that’s not why we’re here today. I’m here to talk about Gardner Minshew and and the sort of movement he’s started with the Jaguars. I remember the week 1 game he came in. I was actually watching the Kansas City and Jacksonville game (I didn’t have an option at the time). Nick Foles threw a BEAUTIFUL pass to DJ Chark in the endzone for a touchdown which made the game 10-7 in the first q ..read more

So I’ll start giving my NFL picks for each game every week and then following up on Monday and seeing how well we did. Right now, this is the first week so I don’t have any reference to look back to. I’ll keep the list relatively short and just touch on a few key points that I want to highlight. I will also be tracking my picks and my record on this Google spreadsheet for everyone to see. Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans Minnesota vs. NY Giants Jacksonville vs. Carolina Atlanta vs. Houston Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh Buffalo vs. Tennessee Arizona vs. Cincinatti New England vs. Washington ..read more

Dec 17, 2018; Charlotte, NC, USA; Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (22) carries the ball in the second quarter against the New Orleans Saints at Bank of America Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY SportsIf you ask any Carolina Panthers’ fan if Christian McCaffrey is the best running back in the league right now? The answer will be a resounding, “yes”. Many sports analysts are quick to give Christian McCaffrey respect, but immediately bring up other running backs such as Ezekiel Elliot, Todd Gurley, Leonard Fournette, or Alvin Kamara to name a few. And no one c ..read more

So I started my NFL picks (Pick ‘Em) column last week to predict which teams were going to win each game. My record last week? 10-4. Pretty good, I lost all 3 afternoon games. If you haven’t read my takeaways from last week’s game, check out my post. Well, I decided to make it a little more interesting for my NFL picks. Instead of picking the outright winner, I’m gonna use the point spread to predict the game instead. If you don’t know what I’m talking about I explained it in this post. Here are my NFL picks for this week: I am keeping track of all my NFL picks and th ..read more

Is Tom Brady Showing Age? 5 Things We Learned From The Patriots Game

Fun Fact: New England is 13-6 overall on Thursday nights. Bill Belichick is 13-3 for his career while Tom Brady is 11-1. Fun Fact: A short turnaround hasn’t seemed to bother the Patriots, who have won seven straight on Thursday Night Football. Since the NFL introduced the Thursday night format in 2006, the Pats have the best winning percentage and record 9-2 in the league at .818. (Pretty sure the Patriots lead any category that is based on winning percentage) First of all, I loved the Rob Gronkowski commercial that FOX debuted last night. It was hilarious, and it was vintage Gronk ..read more

Sports Betting 101: What Are The Odds?
The RedZone Bulletin

Since I’ll be talking about NFL odds and point spreads, I’ll give a rundown of the common terms used in online sportsbooks. Single Bet A single bet (sometimes called a straight bet) is a wager on the outcome of a single event or game. Based on the odds you choose, either the outright winner, the point spread, or the combined scores of both teams determines a winning bet. Your payout is determined by the odds posted at the time the bet is placed. You can place multiple straight bets simultaneously. The bets can be from the same or different sports, leagues, or portions of the game a ..read more

NFL Lines: How To Turn 100$ Into 50,000$

So last week I said I would start picking game winners for the games every week. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but I realized that picking the games straight up was too easy. I finished with a record of 10-4 last week, which is pretty good as far as gambling. You can check out my picks in this post, or here’s the google spreadsheet I’m using to keep track of them. So I’ve been going through different sportsbooks, looking at the bets, the NFL lines, the odds. I am going to start playing ATS. which is against the spread. For those that don’t know how the point spread works, it works like ..read more

Monday Night Football: What’s Wrong With Baker Mayfield & the Browns
The RedZone Bulletin
by Ser, Monteezy

The Browns got embarrassed on a big game once again. Baker Mayfield looks like a shell of himself and oh by the way, he’s not necessarily making friends in the NFL either. Richard Sherman, All-Pro cornerback, said Baker snubbed him during the pre-game handshakes and refused to shake his hand. Here’s what he said after the game: “What’s amazing, and annoying, was him not shaking hands at the beginning,” Sherman said Monday night, according to NFL.com. “That’s some college s—. It’s ridiculous. We’re all trying to get psyched up, but shaking hands with your opponent — that’s NFL etiquette ..read more
