Back-to-back1500m Olympic Champion Faith Kipyegon is the LG Sport’s Personality for the month of August.
The mother-of-one successfully defended her 1500m gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games in a new Olympic record of 3:53.11, beating Great Britain’s Laura Muir and Dutch star Sifan Hassan.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp went offline for users across the globe, the social media giant said on Monday, as it worked on restoring its services.
The issue affecting the services could not immediately be determined, but the error message on the webpage of Facebook suggested a problem with domain same system (DNS) servers.
DNS allows Web addresses to take users to their destinations. A similar outage at cloud company Akamai Technologies took down multiple websites in July.

James Mwaura won in the Kenyan Wings for Life World Run through the app held on Sunday at the Jaffreys sports club by clocking 53km in 3hours.
James also emerged among the top 20 globally.
This year’s run attracted the largest number of participants. 184,236 participants from 195 nations ran for those who can’t. 4.1m euros was raised for spinal cord research through entry fees and donations.
