Vietnam, the surprise that I never thought I’d receive. Vietnam was my favourite part of my trip by fair, why? Because I met so many amazing people and really traveled on my own for the first time. I flew directly into Hanoi – be warned most credit cards are not accepted in the card machines so take cash with you. I staying in the downtown area as this is where most of the bars are. Everything is super easy to get to from this location. I wasn’t a massive fan of Hanoi because it was super loud and wasn’t great for my bipolar as I was just coming down from a manic episode so everything was supe ..read more

As we are already nearly finished with 2019, I thought I’d let you all know what I have planned for the rest of the year. 2019 has been an extremely busy year for me already, what with going backpacking around Southeast Asia and having two different jobs. I don’t have plans to slow down any time soon if I’m honest. I’ve enjoyed being busy! End of 2019 Plans I’m travelling in November and December! I have 2 trips currently planned; I’m  currently going to Iceland and New York. Excitement overload you could say. I truly caught the travel bug when I was backpacking and don’t plan on stopping any ..read more

You’ll have to bear with me on this post. It’s a difficult one to write. I don’t talk about my alcohol intake very often on my blog but I think it’s about time that I did. As most of you know, when you are taking mental health medication it is highly recommended that you don’t drink alcohol. Well like many people with Bipolar I don’t listen to that advice, I don’t care about the advice. We’ll I didn’t until 2 weeks ago. ***TRIGGER WARNING – This topic contains alcohol abuse and disturbing content*** Here’s my story with alcohol. I never realised I had a problem. That was until I first sat down ..read more

Cambodia – Siem Reap

My Cambodia adventure consisted of travelling from Phuket to Siem Reap by plane. Siem Reap, the city of temples, home to the amazing and stunning Angkor Wat. Siem Reap is located in the north west of Cambodia and was the only place I visited. I only had 4 days to enjoy this area and boy did I. Before going to Cambodia I recommend that you research its history. This is important because Cambodia is still finding its way after a dreadful genocide that was carried out between 1975 and 1979 were about 1.5-3 million Cambodian people were killed. However, I have found that you will never met more fr ..read more

I frequently get asked alot of questions about Bipolar, whether that be online or day to day. So I decided to create this Bipolar Q&A to answer any burning questions you have. Question 1. Am I single because of my Bipolar? The answer is no. This has nothing to do with my bipolar. I’m single because I want to concentrate on myself and develop as a person. If anything I get attention I just turn it down. Question 2. When’s the perfect time to tell someone you have Bipolar? I get asked this question a lot. My answer to it is, whenever you feel like the right time is. With friends I’m very pic ..read more

Thailand Part 2 – Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi

Before I start this blog post I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave my previous Thailand post love. I’ve received so much feedback that I don’t really know what to do with it. Anyway onto the islands! To get from Bangkok to Phuket we decided to pay out and fly. Now we only did this because the price for a train down to the island and then a ferry actually worked out more expensive than a flight. This flight I must say had about 20 people on it, this means we could’ve each had a row to ourselves. Phuket Part 1 We spent our time at Patong Beach, this is known as the party c ..read more

Yes I’m back. Hello. How you doing? I’m fab. I’m sure by the title of this blog post you are probably wondering what the hell am I doing. “I thought you’d just signed up for a open degree”. Uh well yes, I did. BUT life changes. I changed my mind. Going travelling opened my mind and now I know what I’d like to do with life and a Business degree would suit me alot better. I want to open a hostel. A hostel for the lovers of travel. I still stand by what I said about an open degree, it is incredible for people who don’t know what they want to study or for people who want to study more than one sub ..read more

Arriving 13 hour flight done. I didn’t have a single panic attack, go Rosie. It’s 5:30 pm Bangkok time. I’ve landed and my is it boiling. We head out the exit of the airport and get the 60 Baht bus into the centre of town. Madness is an understatement, little did we know that we had been dropped bang in the middle of Khao San Road, the famous party road. Time to find the hostel and go out and explore. Bangkok Where do you begin in Thailand? Well I have read every blog post possible and checked every travel blog and they all say, of course, Bangkok!
