You probably ended up here for easy money. Viral Market and similar sites/apps promise easy money just for sharing the site or answering to questions. But in real life they are data harvesting companies (aka scams) that will not pay you a dime – or pay very little. What sounds too good to be true, usually is. Remember, 99% of the sites that advertise “money online” are spam and scam. Instead, read my tips: How to make money online – for real. Better than WhatsApp web – use a native app for Mac and Windows

Yes, this is a click bait. There is no native app for WhatsApp, except for mobile phones. WhatsApp only has the web view, and it needs to be connected to your phone. If you don’t have your phone nearby or it’s disconnected from the network, you can’t use WhatsApp on the computer. Telegram to the rescue Telegram Messenger is a free cloud and open source based messaging software which looks exactly like WhatsApp – but is in many ways much better. It’s faster and it has stickers! But the most important feature for me is that it can be used on any device. I have it installed on a Mac, Windows PC ..read more

Listen Pandora music outside of USA with Anesidora

Europeans might not know about Pandora, which is a music streaming service far more superior to Spotify. That’s because it’s blocked outside United States, possibly due to licensing restrictions. The app works as in “shuffle everything” mentality, so it’s perfect for those who just want to listen something related to anything, or then just any genre. Press play and you’re good. Without VPN it’s not possible to use Pandora, but some interenet heroes have invented couple of practical ways to listen to Pandora for free anywhere you are in the world. One way is to use command line and set up piano ..read more

Best Linux for really old computers like ASUS eeePC 901

Linux is the best, because it runs on everything, especially on older computers that no longer run Windows smoothly. One of those machines is the mini laptop ASUS eeePC that I still have. Its weak Atom CPU is slower than Raspberry Pi. Everything from Puppy Linux to Crunchbang is good, but I’ve found lesser known BunsenLabs Linux work the best in this tiny machine. Beautiful Linuxes like elementaryOS and Zorin OS won’t run or even fit on this computer. BunsenLabs based on Debian and like most of the Linux distributions out there, it’s completely free. BunsenLabs is very small and uses way unde ..read more

Most of us agree that Mac’s Do Not Disturb mode is painfully hidden in settings and sidebar and it turns on every time you reboot. Some time ago I posted about Undisturbed app for Mac. Well, it seems the links are down and app is no more. But not to worry, there’s an alternative! Ever wanted to get more focused work done? Do you turn Do Not Disturb on, but forget to turn it off? Look no further! DND Me is a handy menu bar app. With this app you can silence your notifications permantently or for amount of time. The app’s licence costs about 5 bucks but it’s worth it. Live chat is a great way to talk to your visitors or potential customers. When I first started my small business I went through dozens of live chat software. The quality and prices vary a lot! Some have even $100 costs per month and have little extra value compared to competitors. This time I will save you the trouble to go through all of them and give your the absolutely best choice available. Crisp Live Chat Back in 2016 when I started to use Crisp I noticed how the UI is way more polished and slick when compared to other chat services. It has many features and it doesn’t force-feed you to u ..read more

How to make money online – for real
Geeky Lifestyle

Well, that’s the question! Usually the sites who offer tips like these are full of scams. You cannot really “make money” by answering to surveys or gambling. Here are my tips (don’t blame me if they do not work, but I’ve seen some of them work). Unless many other blogs, I’ll let you know the good and bad sides of these options as well. 1. Start blogging and sell ads This needs hard work, but it may be worth it. I’ve been personally able to earn a bit on the side just by sending text links. Other forms of ads can be promoted articles and image banners. And then there’s Google AdSense. Passiv ..read more
