Anxiety bucks it’s hooves against my peace. My clenched jaw makes my temples throb in pain. My heart is all tangled in knots and I can’t seem to loosen the threads. “Which hand has better veins?” the nurse asks. I take a quick guess hoping the correct answer is my left arm.
