Actually, I can?t wait to say it and mean it! “Thank God it’s Friday” is used to express the joy one feels in knowing that the work week has officially ended and that they have two days off with which to enjoy. Bees?s Knees The perfect place to start this blog, the classic Bee?s Knees cocktail. Named after slang for ?the best? it was created during the Prohibition era when honey was added to illegally produced spirits as a flavourful sweetener. During Prohibition honey sugar syrup was sometimes incorporated with citrus juices to mask the inconsistency of the spirit! My version uses lemon and lime juice to give that extra touch of tanginess.
