Thirty people and two dogs hunted for mushrooms at Dark Hollow Woods on April 29, during the City Nature Challenge. The main goal of this walk was to observe lichen. Walk leader and club president Stephen Bucklin entered this list, adding 7 lichen to the clubs life list. Thanks to the hardcore crew of dedicated mushroom hunters that came out on a very cold Sunday. Starting temperature was about 20F and it warmed up to freezing, 32F.
