Sayler goes glamping on the Olympic Peninsula

The husband, dog and I needed a getaway weekend on a budget. The weather was too cold for our backpacking tent and we preferred the outdoors over a hotel. We grabbed the wall tent knowing exactly where to go! A few years back we took a drive through the Olympic National Park and came across Graves Creek Campground deep in the Quinault Rainforest. Originally thought it was abandoned because of the nonexistent crowds that we are used to in Washington State. Ever since then we have talked about going back, and now we had a perfec ..read more

Experiencing the Centennial Wall Tent
At Rainier Outdoor, we love experiencing the outdoors, especially if it's with our own staff. It gives us the opportunity to touch, feel, smell and experience what it's like using our products. Plus, it's really fun, too.
Hi! My name's Chris Smith and I'm a Commercial Account Executive at Rainier and I love sharing my enthusiasm for the outdoors. My in-laws hunt year-round, but I join them once a year for archery elk season and this year we were lucky enough to use the Rainier Outdoor Centennial Wall Tent.

A Camping tradition lives on!
Have you ever noticed how some things in history live on? The tipi camping tradition hasn’t changed much in hundreds of years because – it was a great design to begin with! Take a look at how simple they are to assemble. In this short video we take you though how you can build your own Tipi. OH Yeah!
Truly a design that is centuries ahead of its time, the tipi was the ultimate mobile shelter built to withstand a full range of weather extremes.

As promised, let's wrap up our comments on this week's episode of HGTV's Design Stars. First, I want to thank Colorado Yurts for loaning the three yurts for the designers to each create a bedroom oasis.
