RAAF Richmond airbase (XRH/YSRI) is a big and important RAAF base about 50 kilometers northwest of Sydney area. The air base was opened in 1916 once a military flying school was founded here. Time moved on, world changed and today the air base is home to some RAAF squadrons like the 37th Squadron with its fleet of C-130J Hercules. Schleswig Air Force Base or in German Fliegerhorst Schleswig (WBG/ETNS) is a military airport located in the Schleswig-Holstein region in Northern Germany. It permanently houses the Fighter Squadron 51 (TLG51), which is part of the NATO Tigers association and the only recce unit of the air force. Shannon Intl. Airport (SNN/EINN) is located in the County Clare in the Republic of Ireland just halfway between Limerick and Ennis. Blackpool Airport (BLK/EGNH) is located in the North West of England, 2 miles away from the city centre, This airport has two operational runways 10/28 is 1,868 meters and runway 13/31 is 998 meter with both being asphalt.
