A woman, simply identified as Iya Ayo, was caught in Fesojaye community in Osogbo, Osun State for tying up her son in a sack for four days. She accused him of stealing. The child was thought to be missing but all the while had been in the same house with his mother tied up in a sack. He was denied food and water. She locked him up in her wardrobe.  Luckily for the child, he was rescued by residents of the community and given food to eat and clothes to wear. In what looked like a scene out of a zombie movie, an unknown man throws himself unto parked vehicles in broad daylight. The man, who was stark naked, was filmed walking down the streets and then suddenly throwing himself unto the vehicles. He would walk a little , then forcefully lurch himself at the vehicles. Mama Vera has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for bathing her grandchildren with pepper and chaining them naked for drinking garri without her permission.  The children whose identity has been withheld are said to be aged 7 and 8 years old.  Mama Vera is said to have also stopped the children from going to school.  The children were heard crying for help by their neighbours at Mgbuoba in Obio/ Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
