Enel Green Power Australia has commenced construction of the Cohuna Solar Farm a project developed by the Leeson Group. The 34.2MW DC Solar Farm locate in the shire of Gannawarra will use around 87,00 bifacial modules on single axis trackers and generate 77GWh of renewable electricity each year. This will reduce around 71,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions released into the atmosphere every year. Cohuna Solar Farm, a 34 MW project located in Horfield, Victoria 8km’s south of Cohuna has been awarded a 15-year support agreement with the Victorian State Government who has a target of 25 per cent renewable energy by 2020 and 40 per cent by 2025 under its Victorian Renewable Energy Target.
