My Dearest Students,      Today I am writing this letter addressed to each of you to inform you about the impression you have made on me. Why you may ask? Well, there are so many reasons!      Like all of you, this is my first year in middle school. We got to share the many different emotions during this experience. For you ..read more

Bennett It’s been a total game changer with my overall mental health! We all know that it is easier to find the negative, complain and dwell on it. Instead, we should focus our mind on finding the positive in ANY situation!  Earlier in the year, I began to suffer from Insomnia. I would only sleep 2 hours a day. I lost motivation to work out, be social, and procrastinate with my final assignments. My environment was so clouded, I felt like I was drowning ..read more

If you are experiencing anything like me, I had to quit my full time job to complete student teaching! By the time you graduate, you're lucky if you have time in the summer to work. The FINAL week of being a Junior K teacher has arrived!   I have been preparing my kiddos for the big change. I have had some say they were sad, don't go, and I'll miss you! With that being said, the kiddos seem more apprehensive every time I leave, (lunch or for the day). Honestly, I feel like I am abandoning them. I feel guilty for walking away to complete my degree. It has been wearing on me hard! I have put so much effort with being a positive role model for them. I can see the change it has made. I'm gonna miss those kiddos! I hate the idea of knowing I am leaving them in the hands of s ..read more
