The much-awaited indigenous aircraft carrier of India, INS Vikrant, was launched recently by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is a significant milestone achieved by the country on the basis of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaign. It was launched at Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) on September 2, 2022.
