January 2020 was a good month for interest and dividend income. Dividend Income keeps rising while interest income is steady. The most striking aspect of my investment adventure that is in part motivated by several bloggers that this is actually working very well. December 2019 was a record month as it relates to dividend income, which was $245.15. This is 2.32 more time than December of 2019. The $245.15 is the new minimum that I expect to receive in dividend income on a quarterly basis for the rest of my life. The future looks definitely bright on dividend income front. My Robinhood statement it states that my estimated annual income from dividends is expected to be $1,708.46. At the account cost basis of $47,181.68, this equates to a dividend yield of 3.6%. November 2019 is going to be a brief summary, not much is happening. Securities Investments: $522.68 was deployed in November of 2019. I am running out of money currently until the 10th of January 2020. The following securities were purchased: BTI, GILD, MO, XOM, DBC, TRV, DGS, COMT, GLDI, KEY, VPU, XEL, GEO, and VXUS. In September, my investment accounts generated $356.15. This is definitely moving in the right direction and far above the $192.30 reported in August. $300 per month should be a new normal for now. Anything below that I will treat it as regressive and will seek other investments to return to the desired goal. In August 2019 my investments accounts generated $192.30 vs $229.48. A net decrease of $37.18. (Not good.) This is disappointing because in August 2018 I had deployed $73,207.11 vs this year $102,047.10. I will describe the underperformance below. My wife and kids went to visit grandparents for 4 weeks. So, I decided for the second year in the row to rent out our finished basement on Airbnb. Customer Ratings Look Good: Gross Earnings: $2,134.00 (See summary table below.). The basement was rented out for 23 nights at an average rental rate of $92.78. During the month of July, my investment accounts generated $353.42. In comparison in July 2018, my investments account earned $177.41. This simply amazing. I am so glad that I am doing this because it is actually working. Keeping the data on this blog makes things easy and real.  I would have not believed these numbers if I didn’t keep track.
