I know… This has been a while coming! I’ve had these Reflector figures for as long as I can remember. They look small but badass and with the added weapons I always loved the way that Reflector was portrayed with them. Also, I found these figures to be a bit fragile, so I wanted to work with them while I still could. Seriously, who doesn’t like the big, bad ass Dinobot Grimlock and his team smashing Decepticons and anything in their path? This Transformers Wallpaper was one I had intended on making for some time, I wanted demonstrate a bit of scale and give the background a little ‘Dinobot Island’ feel to it. When photographing this figure I tried to get really close so some features seemed larger in front, as if his body was far away due to his massive size. I always looked at this figure and wanted to make a Transformers Wallpaper with it. Ultra Magnus always has that cool, large and in charge thing about him but due to his respect and gentle nature also (whilst still being able to smash Decepticons). This image is me trying to imagine what it would be like literally being on the street, and suddenly you are faced with this giant Autobot. So I found someone looking up, cut them out and popped them in front of Magnus to create some scale and give it an almost ‘see what he sees’ feel to the image. So this is a Transformers wallpaper I created that actually serves more of a purpose. I really wanted to another Optimus Prime wallpaper just because he’s so iconic and really represents power, gentleness and the whole Autobot Theme (well, not in the Bayverse, he’s more bad ass there but but you know).
