So, made it to day 3. Today was a lot easier than the others. Work was pretty hectic, 10 hour shift then had to log in at 3am to deal with a Chinese account! Usually I wouldn’t do it but I’ve come to realise so far that keeping yourself occupied really helps. I’d advise anyone that’s going through an addiction to do the same. Get a hobby, keep occupied. Well I’ve managed 2 days… only just. It got to the point in the day where I had nothing to do, nothing to keep me occupied and I felt the urge to gamble. Want to know why I didn’t? I’ll tell you you. I want to be successful, have a good job, nice car, nice house. A family. It’s not that I didn’t want all that 2 days ago… because I did. So… I didn’t think that I’d ever be in the situation I’m in now. I’m sure there’s a few people who are, or have been in a very similar situation. Thousands in debt due to gambling.
