Nine plus years of increasing spiritual experiences and still I’m amazed at the tricks the spirits pull. Are they trying to make me laugh? Are they trying to guide me in some mysterious way? I can ask them directly and sometimes I understand the answers, but not always. I share a lovely dog with ..read more

Before my eldest son died 9 years ago, I kind of believed in something I couldn’t put my finger on. I certainly didn’t believe we could communicate. I’ve since then been thoroughly convinced that not only is there a spirit world but they can and do communicate with us. We just don’t always recognize their communication. We may call it “a coincidence” or “serendipity” or people may call us “crazy”, depending on the scenario.
I’m not going to pretend that I’m an expert or that I know all the ways Spirit can comm ..read more

When do spirits or guardian angels visit us most, showing their support in many creative ways? In my experience, they’re always there, easily accessible when asked but they may show physical manifestations of their presence when times are most difficult. I find when my grief about my angel son (my deceased, oldest son) descends, blanketing me in a dark cloud, these are the days I am most likely to experience spiritual occurrences without effort.

An excellent multivitamin can help stabilize bipolar, depression, a myriad of anxiety disorders including PTSD and OCD, ADD/ADHD, addictions, and can help dementia. I’ve been a practicing psychotherapist for 24 years and recently have been focusing on nutrition for mental health. I have become a Certified Nutritional Counselor because I have read enough research to recognize that nutrition is one of the most important steps we can take to improve our mental health.
We can start by making sure we are eating frequently enough. An ..read more

The United States is a country that prioritizes Western Medicine, treating mood, attention, and anxiety disorders with medications. The sad part of this approach is that although medication tends to work great in the short run, in the long run, it often causes more problems than it helps. Research shows us that 78% of people who have bipolar moods that are stabilized on medication will have breakthrough symptoms or an episode within five years. In my experience, it often happens faster than that. I rarel ..read more

Do you prefer a natural approach to healing? Do you find that the Western Medicine approach sometimes leaves you with unpleasant side effects you’d rather avoid? I have discovered with experience that my body doesn’t respond well to Western Medicine in some ways, and you may be one of those people as well.
As a young adult, my mother used Comfrey as an herbal poultice to help heal skin inflammation and infection. We used it for hang nails, infected scratches, and mild staph infections. It was a huge relief to me as I was at an impressionable age when my face with impetigo was ..read more
