In my view, food as nature intended means wild game. Over the last decade my family has been blessed with many successful hunts which resulted in a freezer full of the cleanest meat on the planet. Pure, unadulterated wild game is the healthiest option on earth, however not everyone has the time, skill or desire to hunt for all their meat. Just because you don’t have access to wild game, do you need to settle for an inferior product? Walk the Walk We started this website because my family is passionate about wild game and being connected to the food we eat, however over the past 2 years of oper ..read more

We all know and love Teflon for its non-stickiness and ease of clean up after scrambling eggs. Some concerns arrive in regards to cooking with a Teflon pan and how you are ingesting and inhaling these chemicals, which could make us sick. It seems the jury is still out to whether or not PTFE ..read more

Alaska Moose Hunting: No Bull that had NO BALLS
Born Wild Outdoors
by Jacob Lamphier

The title of this post says it all….If you ever thought that all bull moose are packing around the same stuff, like me, you’d be wrong. This last fall (Sep 2019), while on an Alaska moose hunting trip, I was fortunate enough to have a truly unique hunting experience. Below is a video that tells this tale that will leave most hunters in astonishment. Doing my own research on the intra-webs revealed that this is rare, but has been documented a few times. One of which was even a moose in the Anchorage area. All it takes is a little bit of luck and some sleight of hand on the part of the mo ..read more
