Hip-hop media personality DJ Vlad is feeling the wrath of the internet after getting into an argument with Princeton professor Morgan Jerkins. Social media users came to Jerkins’ (who is the niece of iconic producer, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins) defense after she criticized DJ Vlad for sharing his opinion on the ongoing Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef that has taken over the internet.
“Kendrick’s ‘Not Like Us’ needed a better mix. It takes away from the song,” DJ Vlad tweeted over the weekend.

A mother in Louisiana wants local police to step in and arrest the person responsible for nearly causing the death of her son.
On April 14, Christopher Gilbert suffered severe brain damage after he nearly died after he had to be rescued from Lake D’Arbonne in Farmerville, KSLA reported. When Ayan Broomfield was offered a stint on King Richard as a body double for Saniyya Sidney, who portrayed Venus Williams on screen, she immediately accepted. Gen V will not go the recast route with Chance Perdomo’s role.
The producers of Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff wrote on social media that they are currently rewriting the second season and won’t find a new actor to play Perdomo’s character Andre Anderson out of respect for Perdomo and what he meant to the cast and crew. The show is planning for a May production, even with the reworking of the season’s storyline.

Tyler Perry’s Tyler Perry Studios and DeVon Franklin have set a partnership with Netflix to produce faith-based films under that’s been described as a multi-year and multi-picture first-look deal.
The films stemming from the project will be produced by Franklin and Perry, in conjunction with Tyler Perry Studios.

With The Neighborhood recently renewed for Season 7 at CBS, the series now has a Tracy Morgan-led spinoff set at Paramount+.

Tracy McBride, of Greenville, South Carolina, was 20 years old when she first tried out as a participant on Wheel of Fortune. After nearly three decades of going through the process, her dream of becoming a contestant on the popular game show came true.

The WNBA‘s rookies are preparing for their first season in the league. With that comes a slew of new experiences off of the court that involve the press. Introductory press conferences are the norm, and we recently saw the first presser for Angel Reese, as well as Caitlin Clark and Alissa Pili.
