Laois U-14 academy squads had a successful day of hurling when they travelled to Cork recently for their first games of the year. They had a productive day out last Saturday – beating both Cork City and Cork East. However, despite the great hurling on display it was a trad session breaking out on the bus home that stole the show. Jack Higgins, on the box, and Tadgh Lowry, on the bodhrán, gave their teammates a wonderful performance on the way home from Cork.
