Hello everyone! We’re back with a few updates and Meghan’s visit to Harvest Home yesterday to mark International Women’s Day 2023.

Harvest Home, founded in 1985, provides housing, mental health support, and classes to expectant mothers who are experiencing hardship and intense challenges including domestic violence, substance use and homelessness. Happy New Year readers! Sorry it has taken us a bit to do a post — We have a few news updates for Meghan and Harry followed by a number of IDs from the recent Harry and Meghan documentary.
We start off with an announcement made shortly before the holidays that Archewell Foundation—Archetypes, has partnered with VING Project, a US-based giving movement, to give away $1 million in $1,000 grants to women in financial need, nominated by young people between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. The project was launched back in October of this year.

The awards, which are bein emceed by Alec Baldwin, recognizes changemakers for their dedication to social change and making our world a better and more hopeful place. Meghan and Harry were honored alongside the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. NBA player and civil rights activist Bill Russell, who died in 2022, was also recognized with a posthumous award.

On Tuesday evening, Meghan was the featured guest at the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana event, “The Power of Women: An Evening with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex,” at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. The benefit supported the Women’s Fund mission to invest in the lives of women and girls in the state.
