AMD preparing EPYC 4004 series Will use the AM5 package.  Consumer Raphael chips will soon be available in a new variant. The data-center-oriented EPYC series is said to receive a new variant called 4004. The series will join an extended lineup of EPYC Zen4 CPUs, which now span across 5 segments and feature anything from 8 to 128 cores. At this time, it is unclear if EPYC 4004 uses Zen4 or Zen4c cores. The APU, featuring an OPN (product) code of 100-000000994-14_N, is part of AMD's upcoming deployment of the Strix Point processor series.
